As with the westin chain the heavinly bed was just that. not one peep out of my 4 year old, who woke up with a smile on his face and actually wanted to rest more! the front desk persons were excellent, charming, friendly and helpful. room service was delicious and fast which is key when feeding a hungry 4 yr old. the pool was a little cool and small but perfect for keeping after my son. the location is perfect for a quick get away. minutes from great family fun and for singles the hotel is connected to one of the hottest clubs in tampa!!! lots of fun. i AM going back next month with my boyfriend for some adult fun!!!lol

Front desk friendly. General appearance and curb appeal at entrance/lobby good. Room was clean/attractive except a continuing odor similar to sewer gas emanating from the bathroom. Complained and they sent up an ""engineer"" who removing the tub drain plug, fished out a small amount of human hair, poured some cleaning liquid into the drain and left. Took a shower and the tub would not drain properly, the water backed up over my ankles. The ""engineer"" returned, did the same routine and left. Then the odor got stronger again. This time the ""engineer"" returned with a spray can of Arm & Hammer bath deodorizer and recommended keeping the door closed. Tried it. Didn't work either. The hotel (supposedly 4star) never offered to change my room. After dinner out the first evening the electronic magnetic strip door keys did not work, mine nor my wife's. The front desk gave us new keys. Next evening my wife wanted to visit a nearby shopping mall. I asked the front desk what was the best way to go there and what I should expect to pay for a cab. They told me not to take a cab because the hotel was not busy and they were happy to offer us a free roundtrip to the mall. (Note that I did not request this service, it was offered to me). Downstairs the van driver said he required $40 dollars to do this (cab costs $18). After another conversation with the desk the driver took us as they originally offered. In short, personnel performance was shoddy/unacceptable and left with a ""bad taste"" experience. This hotel needs to get its act together if they expect to have any repeat customers.

We stayed here because we were coming in to town for a concert and it was a fantastic location for walking to the venue. Cheaper than the other hotels in the area too. Really nice hotel, I only have a few complaints. 1. Our room smelled a little too much like incense. 2. The pool is in a strange location and has no circulation so it's quite stuffy. 3. We were given keys to an occupied room. Not cool! Overall - great hotel and I would return.

Disgusting room and uninformed,rude front desk staff

I called to get directions to hotel from highway which runs 2minutes from hotel, noone knew how to get there, when the 4th person gave me directions they gave me wrong directions(wrong street names), when we checked in we had to call down for a mini bar key, they took so long my husband went down and got one.Later that night at 2am, the phone rang, we didnt answer seeing we were asleep, then there was a knock on the door, they said front desk, we didnt answer, (we had the do not disturb sign on our door), they tried to enter the room with their key, thank god the chain lock was secured, then they called again.I had to inform them we already had the key and had been asleep seeing it was 2am. we went to leave the parking garage to find (for the first time our entire stay) we had to pay $10 a night for parking,when I had no cash and only my debit card I was written a ticket and have to pay the city of tampa.I guess theyre a little behind in technology. Bad bad experience, will never return, unsanitary, rude front desk people, fees youre unnotified until after(ie. parking) tiny rooms as well.
