My friend and I stayed here for Spring break and we had a complete blast. The location is perfect. It's only 1 block away from Bourbon and takes like 2 minutes. It's close to everything else like Jackson Square and the Aquarium. We walked everywhere we went while we stayed. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were great! They were super friendly and helped us store our luggage before our taxi came since we were checked out of our hotel. They called a taxi for us and made coming and going very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall nice. The only area needing improvement is the room fixtures maintenace. Drapes not connected to the rod, fixtures in the bathroom mounted in holes in the wall loose-toliet paper holder etc. Drain plug in the tub out. Looks like the bathroom is about ready for a minor overhaul. Staff was very nice. I appreciated the free Internet.

The front desk was friendly, room service okay. We just exchanged towels & coffee during our 4 day stay. The hotel is old, could use a facelift. One block from Bourbon street, good location to French Quarter sites. Motel parking garage is $* per night. Buffet breakfast is $*, no pancakes or oatmeal. No jacuzzi.

I Stayed at the Holiday Inn French Quarter 5/30 and 5/31...I booked and paid for my stay in advance stay through travel on line As is the process,.. upon check-in you have to leave a credit card number..even though my stay was already paid for..no problem there...When I went to check out..I asked for a receit at the front desk and was told Holiday Inn could not give me one and that I have to obtain that from travel on line because that is who I booked my stay through. ..OK fine. Problem was ..WOW was I suprised when I got my monthly Credit card statement and the Holiday inn charged an additional 114.00 on my credit card for no apparent reason. Maybe that is why they do not and will not issue receits. I immediatly contacted Holiday Inn and after leaving the 5th phone mail message..finally the accounting dept. contacted me. They agreed to back out the 114.00 charge but could give no explanation as to why the extra charge ..once again ..I had already paid through travel on line I asked the clerk on the phone to please send me a hard copy verification via US postal service that the charge was in fact backed out..she said she would..but DID NOT. The bottom line is..If you stay here..DOUBLE CHECK your Credit card statements for additional unauthorized and unexpected over-charges by the Holiday Inn.
