We've stayed at the Affinia hotels in NYC several times. Affinia Manhattan is just a short walk from subway and catching a cab isn't a problem. Love the kitchenette for leftovers or late night snacks. Will definitely return.

My sister and I took our 3 daughters this past weekend for a graduation present......Beautiful Hotel!!...Fabulous Location!!! Fantastic Rooms!! Clean....bathrooms a bit small...but what the heck....right across the street from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden! We had a fabulous time and they had a Dunkin' Donuts right outside the side door...what more could you ask for? Love It!! A bit pricey...but you're in New York and can walk anywhere basically...

Located very close to Madison Sq Gardens and around the courner from a police station. Constant cab horns and police sirens made it difficult to get a good nights rest, even on the 22nd floor with the air conditioning at full blast. Friendly staff, good service, nice room, but don't forget the ear plugs!

This is a top of the line old school. This establishment has all of the ammenities you could want. Staff is well versed on any trip or restuarant you need info on. We walked off the train and right across the street was as far as we had to go. We didn't try in house food but restuarant was very elegant. With not being very wealthy, the feel and staff made you feel rich!!

I chose this hotel because it was recommended by a friend who lives in NY, but also because of the positive ratings by travelers on this website. I was completely satisfied with everything - from the appearance of the lobby through the friendly check-in process. The room was big and clean, with a stove, microwave and fridge, ;though we only used the fridge to store water; and the location is unbeatable. It's ideal location is adjacent to Madison Square Gardens and a few blocks from Times Square and the Empire State Building. The only downside for me was the sound of sirens every night given that there is a fire station next door, and the only way out for them is by the hotel. It was bothersome the first couple of nights, but I suppose we got used to it very quickly and it wasn't a problem anymore. Besides, after all that walking to and fro, you'll find yourself sleeping through anything on those comfy beds. I went on this trip with my 19 year old son, and I would absolutely stay here again. In fact I'm already looking for my next deal there for early next year!
