The hotel was ok. The beaches excellent. The problem was that we can't sleep for the excesive loud that you can hear from the pool. There was a party and the music was really loud. They do a party at the pool every saturday. I can bet that nobody could sleep until the party end at 12:30 am. The pool is not to big and you can smell something weird if you are in that area. That its not nice...All the other things were ok. The prices are high but everything its expensive on the island. You will find the same prices inside and outside the hotel.... The beaches are perfect. The water its warm and you can snorkell right there on the hotel... If you go there you have to take a tour to swim with the Stingrays... That is amazing experience...

The hotel was ok, it is not a resort in my option. While the hotel was nice and the rooms were clean, I found the hotel to have very small grounds. If you are looking for a large lavish resort this is not a good choice for you.

The hotel is nice. The staff were all very polite, helpful and spoke english. Be aware of the partial view rooms. You can see the ocean but, not much of the beach. A large awning blocks part of the view. The fitness center is very small. These two minor negatives will not keep me from going back to this hotel. The island is the nicest of the many Caribbean islands I have seen. It seems clean, safe and a nice place to walk around. Try the local eateries, I was very satisfied with most of them.

We chose the Marriott over the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman because of the price difference. The Marriott was located close to Georgetown (within walking distance if you want) and to local popular restaurants. The bell staff was the best thing about the resort. They were very exremely helpful with all questions asked. They knew were everything was. The maid service came to our room at least twice a day and sometimes three. The rooms were large and clean. Our balcony view looked at palm trees and a turtle pond. The restaurant onsite had an amazing buffet on Wednesday night (all you can eat lobster, tuna, mahi mahi, strip steak, shrimp and more). The pool was refreshing at night and there was always chairs and umbrellas available on the beach. I would highly recommend the Marriott and will always stay here when visiting Grand Cayman.

We stayed 5 nights in an ocean view room that actually walked out to the pool and was very convenient. This was our first trip to Grand Cayman Island, the views were amazing, and the clear water and beautiful beach was worth repeat visits. The Marriott was in a great location to walk to downtown Georgetown or along 7-mile beach for many fabulous restaurants. Cimboco's is a fun, casual dining restaurant across the street. We also had great meals at The Wharf and Deckers. The hotel seemed full, but not over-crowded with people and plenty of beach chairs. We would stay at the Marriott again. We dove 3 days with Wall to Wall diving and they were fantastic. We'll be back for more great diving at Cayman's!
