All employees friendly and helpful - went out of their way to make a great experience -- lobby beautiful, room comfortable, definitely met and exceeded my standards Ordered room service for breakfast using sign on door - delivered right on time Front desk helpful on both phone and in person Had a drink in the lounge -- nice experience Staff at Starbucks also very good Great location for touring city Thanks

This hotel was far too busy and crowded for me. It was not as close to Water Tower Place or other shops I was interested in. The rooms were really small and ours smelled like smoke, though it was supposed to be non-smoking. It was not worth the money to me. I was disappointed in this hotel.

Why, in a city of so many great hotels would you stay at a cheesy marriott? Most hotels in the area are lower priced and you will get more of a true chicago experience almost anywhere else. The restaurant in particular is disappointing. They are trying the trend of seasonal, local food and not succeeding. I found the menu pretentious, and the food mediocre. The one good theing here is the service. Stay at the Palmer House, the Affinia, or the Amalfi
