Overall a very nice hotel! The staff could not have been more friendly and accomodating. Located righ on Kukulcan Blvd, the Westin Resort and Spa is just a stones throw from the action and the bus runs up and down the strip 24/7 so getting around is very easy and inexpensive. The pool and beach area were some of the best on the strip. The spa was wonderful too...the couples massage that we had under the oceanside cabana was out of this world! The only downsides were: we would have enjoyed poolside music and the Mexican Restaurant had limited hours of operation.

We loved our stay. The staff was very friendly. They all seemed to remember our names. The room was very comfortable, well maintained. Food, while a bit pricey, was great! Room service arrived promptly at the time requested. We appreciated the location. We went for relax time and not for the party atmosphere. The hotel fit the bill perfectly. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a "get-away" location, while still close enough to town for activities.

Not the nicest of hotels, a little dirty, staff not very friendly. Drive a little south to Playa del Carmen and you'll get MUCH nicer places for less money. The pool bar closes early (5 pm) and you can't get a drink at the beach/pool. They charge you $* a day extra to use the gym, wifi and breakfast. For that price go to a nice all-inclusive resort, even if you don't stay there all the time. Check-in and check-out slow. Had to move room due to noisy air-conditioner. Beach ok but annoyingly noisy with idiots powering over and back in their scooters. If you're not under 25 years old, don't stay near Cancun. Go to Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel etc. Of course, got stopped and shook-down by police just two minutes from the hotel but I suppose you'd have to avoid the whole of Mexico to avoid this.

This was the best trip of my entire life! The beach is awesome. The HOTEL staff was very helpful..Not the tour people..make sure you ask the hotel front staff about busses and listen to exactly what they say to get where you want to go. This is one of the first hotel stops from the airport so your about a 20 minute ride from all the craziness. But I recommend to go past all that and go to market 21 and further...rent a car and go anywhere you can..we rented one for two days.people are really helpful..I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat..as a matter of fact we are planning to go again in less than a year. very clean..beach out from was breathtaking. FIVE pools. We didnt get the all exclusive..we went to the store and stocked up on sandwhich stuff and used the hotel fridge to keep it cold. There was NO problems what so ever with this hotel...well they forgot the coffee a few nights...but the wife drinks it so my stay was flawless! What an upscale hotel and a great experience. Maid service was excellent. When ever we came back our room was clean with some cool towel art....and one night even a special treat they left for us...in room free safe, nice tv with english channels..shower had to big nozzels and also came with a seperate bath tub! We rented a car and drove to coba and stayed over night.. which I highly recommend just remember toll money. If you c signs that say CENOTES those are under water wells that you swim in...GO!!! Priceless! I dont understand why people dont rave about cancun...what a paradise...Hawaii...BLAH...Cancun at the WESTIN ...WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember TIP!
