I was impressed from the moment I got out of my car. Everyone was friendly, parked my car (for a price), held our bags, friendly at check-in, I called guest services multiple times and they were always helpful. Fitness room was beautiful with many top notch machines. Loved the individual Starbucks maker and guest services was always helpful at bringing more. Thought the $5 food voucher was nice for denying cleaning service. Overall wonderful experience and excellent location, would recommend.

We spent 4 nights at the Sheraton Downtown and honestly, we were a bit disappointed. First, at check in, we did not receive a warm welcome whatsoever, plus, absolutely no info was given to us about the hotel at check in, I would say the front desk staff seemed very disinterested that we were there- almost like we were an inconvience. We had a suite, which was a nice size, however, the bathroom was unbelievably small- literally a nightmare to move around in. We had a suite b/c there were 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids). We were really disapointed that there wasn't even a mini-fridge in the room. The conciere service was pathetic- we even had one recommend ""McDonalds"" as a great family dining place! None of them knew what they were talking about and gave poor directions. The valet service was really good, and whenever we called for our vehicle, it was always ready and waiting for us and the valet staff was always super friendly and welcomed us back to the hotel each time we pulled in. For a mere $5 extra a day, I recommend parking valet (though $26 per day does seem a bit steep for parking). The pool area was nice, but water was cold. The Sheraton does offer a great location, but then again, most downtown hotels do!

The hotel itself was quite nice but when we arrivved we were told that to park our car it would be $ a night! There was no mention of this anywhere in my reservations. We also got stuck in an elevator.

Here's sequence of events: - checking in but the front desk never told me about the pool was under construction and the workout room was merely a bunch of machines in one of the conference room - I took the elevator up to the room and the key didn't work. I had to go back to the lobby to get a new key while I was dead tire and just wanted to get to the roon - when I got in the elevator, I found out that I have to use the key to activate the elevator, but since it was my first time using this and noone at the front desk told me that I had to do that to activate the elevator. while I was scrambling to figure out how to use the room key in the elevator, someone else press the ""down"" button and change the elevator to ""down"" instead of ""up"". I ended up going down instead of up... my patience was running out - during my stay of 6 nights, I had to call the internet help desk 4 times to get connection. The engineer came up to my room twice...at the end I had to go to the lobby to get internet access - I also noticed other people had problem with the key - when I called the front desk the phone, kept on ringing and no one answered... - This is an old hotel and nothing seems to work including the front desk people... DO NOT STAY HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT
