A comfortable room with a very comfortable king size bed. Buffet breakfast was outstanding. Everyone does an excellent job in this hotel. We were on the 6th floor but our inside room overlooked air conditioning units at about the 3rd floor level that made a grinding noise all night long. A big disappointment in a hotel that was excellent in all other aspects.

This is a very comfortable hotel. A good value for the price. The rooms are spacious for three adults and service is excellent. The location is not the classiest. The neighborhood has a lot of seedy shops and fast food restaurants. However, the subway is a half block away and it is very easy to use. We bought the day passes on the week-end and used them a lot. If you don't mind walking, you can walk to the lakefront which is about a 30 minute walk south or to the posh Yorkville neighborhood about 10-15 minutes walk north.

The Courtyard was a wonderful place for me and my family. We had two rooms, one for my mother and one for me and my family (including 2 kids). The rooms were spacious and the staff was extreamly friendly. My mother is a senior citizen and she does not do elevators so the front desk accomodated her with a lower floor room so she could safely walk the steps to the 2nd floor. We did not have microwave and refridgerators in the room at check-in time but they brought them to us(both rooms). This is a great location to walk down Yonge street and to the Centre Mall. Walk straight down Yonge to catch the Hop-on Hop off bus to tour the city. There are plenty of resturants and 24 hours drugs store within walking distance.

The Courtyard was a wonderful place for me and my family. We had two rooms, one for my mother and one for me and my family (including 2 kids). The rooms were spacious and the staff was extremely friendly. Beware- Toronto charges $.05 for bags when shopping take your own shopping bags to put your purchases in.
