Everything about The Ritz Carlton was tasteful. Our stay in Jamaica was just for a few days since we had come down for a wedding. Wish we could have stayed longer so we could have had some more "couple time with my husband" and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at the hotel. We absolutely enjoyed the Jerk Hut and wished it was an option for dinner. We dined at Mangoes and Horizon; both of which was fine, not incredible, but also not as bad as some of the reviews we read. The staff throughout the hotel are very friendly. The grounds are incredibly well kept. The water at the beach was very rough so we didn't go in, and neither did many other guests when we were there. The pool seemed to be where most guests hung out.

I stayed here from 7/19-7/25/2009, it was great. The staff was VERY helpful and the overall vibe of this Hotel was well beyond expectations. Only thing is beds were kinda hard...ahh, I complain.

WOULD REC THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS SOME R AND R. THE REST AND FOOD WERE VERY GOOD AND THE ROOMS AND STAFF WERE WONDERFUL. MY ONLY NEG WAS THAT IT WAS SPRING BREAK FOR MY 2 TEENS AND THERE WAS NO ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES FOR THEM. ALL THE TEENS WOULD HANG OUT AT THE BAR AT NIGHT. THERE IS NO TEEN AREA (1 POOL TABLE)
