I just got back from a 6 night stay at the Novotel and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for one. I can't comment on the standard rooms, but the superior ones are very comfortable, clean, and modern. No it's not the Hilton, but it's very nice and clean, with VERY comfortable beds and fantastic staff - great value for your money! The flat screen TVs are also a nice touch and of course the location is really good as well. My ONLY complaints would be that it's too bad there's not free wireless internet in the rooms, although you can get free wireless downstairs in the lobby (from the room, a wired connection will cost you $9.95 for 24hrs), and I also thought the ""upgraded"" bathroom doors in the superior rooms were a bit funny because they don't really close 100% (there's a gap between the two doors), there's no door handle on the inside of the bathroom doors to open/close them, and the frosted glass lets a lot of light in the room (problematic if trying to use the washroom in the middle of the night without waking others!). That's really not much to complain about so go ahead and book your stay at the Novotel with confidence! If I get to go back to Montreal I would love to stay here again.

The Novotel hotel is very clean and comfortable. Great location - 1 block from The Bell Centre if you're going to any entertainment venue there. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms at the hotel are very clean and a good size. All the linen smelled very fresh and was of a good quality. Everything in the room worked perfectly so there was no issue with heat, lights, TV, etc. Cabs were always available at the front door with bilingual drivers who knew where they were going. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to downtown Montreal for business or pleasure.

Great friendly Staff

The room was comfortable and roomy. It was clean and bright. When I asked staff where to buy an umbrella, it was at a time when most stores were not open so the girl at the desk went and got me her own umbrella to use. The staff pleasantly answered all of my questions and were pleasant at all times. I thought the restaurant was a little pricey compared to other hotels in the area.
