samsara resort was a great place everybody that worked there was very friendly and helpful i cannot wait to return i will be going back as frequent as i can its an affordable little piece of paradise the scenery is great rooms are very efficient and staff is awesome right down to the groundskeepers i highly reccomend it to anyone not to uptight laid back enviroment and no worries

I stayed in one of the garden-view, non-a/c bungalows and it was absolutely gorgeous. The view is phenomenal, the pool and cliffs and ocean are amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect--and one of the cheapest places you can stay in Jamaica too!

There was no AC you have to buy the air. the food was nasty, the sheets are torn and old. There was ants all over the room. I think is a disgrace to put Samara to sell Jamaica. I am a Jamaican I felt very bad when I told my relatives I was staying there. I only spent one night out of the three nights.

A 2-night stay in August was marred by the attitude of the Samsara's desk staff which was disrespectful at best and hostile/rude at worst. When I asked for them to contact Travel website to make it right, I was told that I could purchase a calling card and make the call myself. The manager refused to come out of the office 5 feet away to speak with me. Such a pity as it's such a wonderful budget property. The rooms were large but ours gardenview overrun with ants which I awoke to find crawling on me in the night. The TV remotes weren't distributed as they were in the process of being fixed even though I left a credit card imprint for a deposit on same. Good parts are the pool and the sea with an exciting jump into the sea no beach here; and excellent snorkeling immediately you hit the water. The deck is pretty, security were pleasant and helpful, and the housekeeper was polite and responded immediately to requests. The front desk staff need customer service training.

My Children and I arrived at Legends and we left and didn't even spend one night. The room was dirty and the ceiling fan was about to fall down, and there were bugs in the bathroom sink. There was no sign of the beach. It was the worst day arriving at something so bad. We left and stayed somewhere else not even spending one night there. I explained to the manager and asked for my money back and he refused. I am taking it up with my credit card company to try to recover some of the money. It was not a good experience our first time in Jamacia. We had a wonderful time at another hotel.
