  Enjoyed the stay--everything was good, service, room and food. Loved the location of the hotel. My only gripe is that the parking was scarce at times; but apart from that, would highly recommend the hotel.

  Enjoyed our weekend stay! The room was clean and comfortable. I really liked the bright colors and soft feel to the hotel. Staff was helpful and courteous! Would stay again and looking fward to our next Tampa trip.

  Enjoyed our weekend stay! The room was clean and comfortable. I really liked the bright colors and soft feel to the hotel. Staff was helpful and courteous! Would stay again and looking fward to our next Tampa trip.

  My two friends and I were celebrating a friend’s birthday and I had booked a room at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel as a surprise. Although it was her birthday, my friends and I purchased the romance package because she has not had luck in relationships lately. She was greeted with roses, chocolate and champagne. The room was also gorgeous and really impressed us. If that wasn't enough, the Pelagia Trattoria, a restaurant located inside the hotel was absolutely amazing. I ordered the grilled Ahi tuna and almost melted, I am not sure what everyone else had because I was so into my dish. We were so full by the end of the meal; we did not even want birthday cake. That was later saved for at night when we got to share the champagne and just relax. The next morning when we woke up we treated her to a spa day, which was amazing, and really convenient because we could walk to it from the hotel. I am usually a workaholic but this hotel really gave me a chance to bond with my friend on her birthday. I cannot wait to go back for another girl's night out!

  Best thing about the hotel is the location which is why they are charging these outrageous prices. The hotel is right next to all the best restaurants so its in a great spot. The so called business room is small and cramped, the computer was broken the whole time I was there. Pool was absolutely disgusting, the staff told me "business people dont usually use the pool".
  Nice excuse. Rooms were clean and I'd stay again but not for these prices. One of the receptionists was the rudest woman i'd ever seen however the other two were wonderful. The gym although small was new and very clean, the pool was filled with bugs, a huge turnoff for anyone on business with a family. Whether you use the pool or not, any hotel should spend more money on that because not all families want to drive to the beach every day, the pool is ridiculously small. Hotel staff said the computer would also be fixed however after 3 days it wasn't.
  The staff that handles the bags, and the shuttles are a great bunch of guys. As I stated earlier, the hotel knows its in the best location so they can charge $* a night however I don't think I'll be going back for this price. I don't mind paying for a nice hotel, but Im not going to help them actually pay for it. Hope this helps
