I stayed 2 nights during valentine's day weekend. It was a divine experience. The food was excellent, the service was first class. The ""extras"" where as promised and the staff was exceptional. I look forward to going back very soon and would recommend to any and everyone who likes good food, good service, beautiful surroundings. My friend who lives within a few blocks of the hotel but had never been inside, found the interior from the lobby to the guest rooms absolutely breathtaking.

Although at first glance, the Hotel Palomar in Dallas looks like a mediocre middle-american hangout, the inside has been completely renovated and turned into one of the best hotels in town. The staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms are huge and luxurious and the food tastes great. I was able to stay in a luxury suite for just a few hundred dollars per night. When I come back to Dallas, you'll find me at the Palomar!

We stayed here for 2 nights. From the moment you walk in, the staff bend over backwards to help you and make you feel like a VIP. The rooms are georgous and they really do a great job setting the mood with the plasma TV's playing ambient music while showing bubbles and other relaxing graphics. The room was spotless, the bed very comfy, etc. We loved the location and enjoyed going to Trader Vic's next door. The Highland Park Market is nearby and there are lots of great high end shops and eateries. This hotel is worth every penny if you want a nice relaxing stay with peace and quiet, attentive staff, and great food nearby.

I'm a frequent guest at the Kimpton Palomar Dallas. It's my favorite hotel in the city. Here's why. It's got that signature Kimpton style - unique, stylish, modern, usable, friendly. It feels very much boutique -- an oasis of calm or a fashionable place to hang out. Somehow it manages not to be pretentious. The rooms are extremely well designed and comfortable. The coffee morning bar and The New York Times make you feel right at home. The location is also terrific - across the street is the Angelika movie theater, shops and resutaurants and one exit down 75 is the West Village, with the Magnolia movie theater and a lot of good shops and restaurants. It's basically in a cool part of Dallas. I've stayed in at least ten hotels in Dallas, and the Palomar is by far the best.
