We had wonderful time-relaxing! The hotel is beautiful and the services are outstanding! The rooms are very clean. The daily activities provided by the hotel are very entertaining. The food is beautifully presented and tastes deliicious! We wish we would have booked a longer stay! Am recommending to all we know! Thank you so much staff of Riu Ocho Rios!

Stayed September 2009 and had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautiful and kept extremely clean. The room had a few problems (broken toilet seat, broken shower head & phone did not work) and the hotel made repairs within two days of our complaint. The food was pretty good...the buffet had many choices & different theme nights. The restaurants were good, all had several choices from the menu. The beach was gorgeous and you are able to snorkel in the reefs right there. The swim up pool bar was awesome! The bartenders are great. Bring your own large mug & they will fill it up, instead of having a small plastic cup. If you leave the resort, go to Scotchie's to eat authentic jerk chicken...it is the best! We had a great experience at the Riu.

I recently vacationed at this hotel. It was a last minute trip and it was the right decision. I will keep it short. Hotel Resort was EXCELLENT. The staff was wonderful and the resort was clean. Book it. You won't regret it. Trust

My family and I went to RIU for 8 days on August 22-29th. We loved it, loved the staff, loved the resort and the entertainment crew the most. The food was good, could have been better!! They need to serve more island food. This is a lovely place to stay in Jamaica. We have family here and would recommend this resort over the others.
