The overall hotel experience barely meet standards I expected. When we arrived by taxi, the front desk staff came out to assist with our luggage and they were friendly and professional. The elevator was very small and we couldn't both go up with our luggage at one time. The room was small, but clean. The bed was comfortable. View of street was okay. What I found really odd and have never found this at any other hotel I have ever stayed at was the bathroom floor. It slanted down from the wall by the window toward the bathtub at a fairly uncomfortable angle. Really very odd. U was glad that we were staying only one night on our way to catch a cruise ship.

Great location, quirky place with interesting Front desk staff. Totally worth the deal that I got. Not worth the posted non-sale rate - If you get a great deal and it is not hot in Vancouver go for it, if not give this property a miss. PS Great wine store attached to the Hotel.

Decent sized room, good location, very stylish room. The hotel has gone through renovation, and it's not air conditioned yet, though promises to be. We visited during a Vancouver heat wave and had to sleep with the windows open. Lots of street noises, and our view over the back alley dumpster could have been better.
