The Royal Orchid Resorts Galaxy is within a few minutes walking distance from Utorda beach in South Goa. The airport is 19 kilometres away, Madgaon railway station 12 kilometres away and the capital of Goa, Panjim city is just an hour away.The hotel is a two year old modern looking building with sleek architecture. The reception overlooks the massive pool surrounded by lounge chairs and garden umbrellas and the Sunken Bar, a poolside bar.All cottages are lined together, some around the pool and some further into the lawns towards the sea. In all, the resort has 15 cottages, divided into 65 rooms. The rooms are further categorized into 31 Standard rooms, 34 Deluxe rooms and 4 Premium Suites. The Standard rooms are cheerful with bright coloured walls and decor, large double beds, cable television, refrigerator, wardrobe, dressing table and a sofa cum bed and a four-seater dining table in the drawing cum dining room. Both rooms are separated with a half wall so that each room is visible from the other. The bathroom is compact with a shower cubicle and modern amenities like soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and towels.The Deluxe bedrooms are bigger in size with the same set up; a separate drawing dining and a bedroom.
